SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine production. Proposed device comprises camshaft, camshaft body, rockers, and valves with springs. In compliance with this invention, to rule out compression inside cylinders during certain period, proposed device comprises plate with stops-limiters arranged to move forced by torsion drive rod and to limit camshaft valve axial travel during drive rod turn. Note that aforesaid stops-limiters extend into operating or non-operated position separately driven by a spring, while the number of stops-limiters corresponds or does not correspond to that of intake and discharge valves. Proposed method comprises preliminary heating of oil with the help of device that rules out compression in cylinders. Aforesaid device comprises plate with stops-limiters arranged to move forced by torsion drive rod and to limit camshaft valve axial travel during drive rod turn.
