FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the internal combustion engines. Gas distribution mechanism of an internal combustion engine consists of cylinder head (1), two or more cylinder valves (5), intake and exhaust manifolds (2) and (3), partitions (6) separating the valve head cavities, and turning overflow valve (7) with a damper drive. Gas distribution mechanism provides simultaneous opening of all cylinder valves (5) and bypassing exhaust gases and fresh charge by alternately connecting the valve head cavities to the exhaust and intake manifolds (2) and (3) using rotary valve (7) with valve (7) fixed at partition wall (6) to ensure the purge of the cylinder. Damper actuator consists of cam (24) of the damper, which is part of camshaft (25), return spring (16) and washers (12), which are screwed on a fine thread into movable sleeve (13). In movable sleeve (13) rod (15) is placed, preloaded by washer (12) through spring (14) and adjusting washer (18) and connected through link (11) to lever (10) of shaft (4) of rotary valve (7). Damper drive is disclosed.
EFFECT: technical result consists in the possibility of increasing the filling of the cylinder with fresh charge without a substantial increase in the vertical envelope of the cylinder head.
