SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of antenna equipment. Method is suggested for phased generation of nulls in directivity pattern of phased antenna array, comprising searching of minimum of positive semi-definite functional Q, which represents a weighted sum of DP value module squares in one or several angular directions, which specify coordinates of generated nulls, with the help of monotonously convergent iteration coordinate-wise procedure, on each stage of which there is a minimum of weighted sum of Q by phase of excitation of selected PAR element, and initial values of complex PAR DP in direction of generated nulls are not calculated, but rather measured. At the same time at each stage of iteration procedure, a minimum variation ΔQ is defined for minimised weighted sum Q, which must be maintained at this stage of iteration procedure, besides value ΔQ lies within the limits of 0<ΔQ≤ΔQmax, where ΔQmax is maximum possible variation of Q among all elements of PAF, and for minimization this operable element of PAR is selected, which may reduce Q by value that is not less than ΔQ.

EFFECT: provision of control over shape of directivity pattern (DP) of phased antenna array (PAR) by means of variation of only PAR elements excitation phases.
