METHOD OF POSTMORTEM ESTIMATION OF PERIMETRES OF LARGE VESSELS OF CEREBRUM ARTERIAL CIRCLE Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A61B5/107

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to pathologic anatomy. In order to estimate postmortem state of perimetres of large vessels of cerebrum arterial circle, perimetres (Pc) of main and internal carotids are measured 0.3 cm lower than bifurcations. Aorta perimetre in pectoral part is measured. Perimetre of large vessel of cerebrum arterial circle (K) is calculated by formula: K=(PA:7)±2 mm, where PA is measured aorta perimetre. If Pc is less than K, state of vessel perimetre is estimated as constriction. If Pc is bigger than K - as expansion of vessel perimetre. If Pc equals K - as normal state of vessel perimetre.

EFFECT: method ensures increase of accuracy and objectivity of estimation of main artery and two internal carotids perimetres.
