SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, in particular to field of hygiene and can be applied for teeth cleaning. Electric toothbrush contains flat handle, in which electro engine is placed, head with movable holder of bristles, on which bristles are placed, neck, placed between handle and head, and passing through said neck drive shaft, which means longitudinal axel and connective stated engine with movable bristles holder. Drive shaft is placed with possibility of alternating motion when engine works and contains at least one spring element, which is made incorporated with drive shaft. Said, at least, one spring element is in fact hard and not changing its form, when drive shaft from the side of movable bristles holder does not experience excessive load when power from engine is transmitted to it without any essential loss of efficiency, and is pliable when excessive load is applied of to drive shaft from movable bristle holder, limiting movement of bristle holder in such way, that when engine works at least one spring element experiences repeating deformations, absorbing, at least, part of load from engine and giving opportunity to engine to continue work with consumption of usual level of energy even in case, when adjacent to bristles holder drive shaft is loaded and its movement is limited.

EFFECT: increase of period of batteries exploitation due to moderate voltage or flexure of head or neck of brush by means of flexible drive shaft
