FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used in ophthalmology for treatment of diseases of optic nerve and retina, including in various optic nerve atrophies, macular dystrophy, disturbed blood circulation in optic nerve and retina vessels, neuritis and other pathology of posterior segment of eye. The patient takes daily within 10 days complex of peptide bioregulators Retinalamin and Cortexin by the following schedule: 3 ml of 0.1% Retinalamin is injected intramuscularly, and 2 ml is applied by dropping on a cotton put under inferior eyelid that is followed by magnetotherapy of eyeballs within 7-10 minutes. In addition 3 ml of 0.2% Cortexin is injected intramuscularly, and 2 ml is used for endonasal phonophoresis with applying a special nasal probe.
EFFECT: method allows improving visual functions while enabling a permanent prolonged effect.
