FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: vehicle comprises body (4) and hood (1). Hood 1st edge can be raised by actuating device resting upon body (4) from initial position into thrust position. Hood 2nd edge rests on the body. Point of support of aforesaid 2nd edge (3) on body (4) and travel of 1st edge from initial position into thrust position are inter-coordinated to rise 1st edge without rising 2nd edge (3). The latter can rise when 1st edge stays in thrust position. Driving effort of actuating device (8) is intended for generating impulse sufficient to move hood into thrust position and to up 2nd edge (3).
EFFECT: reduced traumatism of pedestrians.
