FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hinge for vehicle bonnet with attached to bonnet upper part of hinge and attached to body lower part of hinge. Upper part of hinge and lower part of hinge are pivotally connected with each other, and upper part of hinge contains bonnet element (6) for attachment to bonnet and connecting element (7) for articulated joint with lower part of hinge. The bonnet element (6) is fixed relative to connecting element (7) in normal working condition using locking element which unlocks in case of collision with pedestrian. The locking element by its holding surface (10) is engaged with corresponding surface (11) of catch (12). According to the present invention, stopping surface (13) is provided on connecting element (7). The mentioned stopping surface interacts with corresponding surface (14) on the second catch (15).
