FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to shipbuilding and technology for use of multi-body, vessels of catamaran type on displacement submerged supports. Method for use of vessel on submerged supports consists in the fact that vessel, having above-water body installed with the help of rod or tube stands at least on one pair of streamlined submerged supports filled with gas, is used in deep water in drift, in tow or in process of its sailing, under incomplete or complete cargo, on still water or in case of surface roughness. In case of still water supports are installed above water surface. In case of vessel with incomplete cargo, supports are partially filled with ballast. In case of complete cargo, supports are not filled, and in case of water roughness vessel is additionally loaded with ballast so that submerged supports on top lower down in depth of at least two values of limit height of wave, installed for zone of vessel sailing. In case of such method of vessel use, it is reasonable to maintain gas filling submerged supports at excessive pressure relative to hydrostatic one.
EFFECT: possiblity to provide for high stability of multi-body vessels, and also to improve their seafaring, design and technological characteristics.
