FIELD: explosives.

SUBSTANCE: igniting device comprises body with mixing head, in which electric plug is installed with central electrode, and chamber with cooling track arranged in the form of longitudinal channels inclined at the outlet from igniting device to its longitudinal axis at the angle from 37° to 52°, and also nozzles for supply of fuel and oxidant, in mixing head there is a circular header of oxidant with radial protrusions on its external surface and two types of jet nozzles of oxidant directed at the angle to central electrode of electric plug and parallel to longitudinal axis of igniting device. Central electrode of electric plug comprises detachable tip, which creates a minimum gap with internal surfaces of radial protrusions of oxidant circular header, and this gap provides for passage of electric discharge for ignition of fuel and oxidant supplied to its zone.

EFFECT: invention has optimal design, provides for generation of stable igniting torch for ignition of non-self-ignitable fuels.
