SUBSTANCE: invention describes processes, methods and compositions used for manufacturing high-capacity membrane electrode units of solid acid fuel elements. Method involves preparation of solid acid electrolyte material, application of electrolyte membrane, application of electrocatalyst layer, preparation of electrodes, manufacture of gas-tight seals and design of membrane electrode unit.
EFFECT: manufacturing high-capacity membrane electrode unit of solid acid fuel element in which solid matters, owing to their irregularity of crystal structure, have very high proton conductivity.
