FIELD: multispectral television.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of multispectral television, using the registration of the reflected or radiated flux in several areas of the optical spectrum. Optical separation is carried out from the light flux in general λ1÷λmax spectral interval n of multispectral light fluxes in wavelength intervals λ1÷λmax, λ2÷λmax, …, λn÷λmax, where λ12 … <λnmax, generating electric signals proportional to light brightness in elements of multispectral images, converting them into corresponding digital codes U1, U2…Un and calculate the digital codes Uout 1=f(U1;U2;Umax), Uout 2=f(U2;U3;Umax), …, Uout n-1=f(Un-1;Un;Umax), where Umax – maximum possible value of digital codes U1, U2…Un. Codes of digital multispectral television signals corresponding to narrow detection zones λ1÷λ2, λ2÷λ3, … λn-1÷λn, is calculated by formulas U11=[U2×(Umax-U1)], U12=[U3×(Umax-U2)], U1n-1=[Un×(Umax-Un-1)] or by formulas U11=[U1×(Umax-U2)], U12=[U2×(Umax-U3)], U1n-1=[Un-1×(Umax-Un)], determining maximum values U11max, U12max, … U1n-1max of corresponding calculated digital codes U11, U12, … U1n-1, and output values of codes of digital multispectral television signals, corresponding to narrow detection zones λ1÷λ2, λ2÷λ3, … λn-1÷λn, are formed in accordance with the expressions Uout1=U11×(Umax/U11max), Uout2=U12×(Umax/U12max), thus, high contrast of digital multispectral television signals is achieved due to multiplication of digital codes and their subsequent normalization.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of contrast of digital multispectral television signals.
