METHOD OF FORMING DIGITAL SPECTROZONAL TELEVISION SIGNALS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC H04N7/18

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of multispectral television, using the registration of the reflected or radiated flux in several areas of the optical spectrum. Method for generating digital spectrozonal television signals consists in isolating optically from a light flux in general λ₁÷λ_Max. spectral range of n spectrozonal light fluxes in wavelength intervals λ₁÷λ_Max., λ₂÷λ_Max., …, λ_n÷λ_Max., where λ₁<λ₂…<λ_n<λ_Max., in the formation of electrical signals proportional to the brightness of light in the elements of spectral images, converting them into the corresponding digital codes U₁, U₂…U_n and calculating the difference of digital codes U_{out 1}=U₁-U₂, U_{ou t2}= U₂-U₃, …, U_{out n}= U_n-1-U_n. Output codes of digital spectral television signals corresponding to narrow registration areas λ₁÷λ₂, λ₂+λ₃, …, λ_n-1÷λ_n, are formed in accordance with the expressions U*_out1=(U_out1+U_max.)/2, U*_out2=(U_out2+U_max.)/2, ..., U*_{out n}=(U_{out n}+U_max.)/2, where U_max. – the maximum possible value of a digital code.

EFFECT: improving the accuracy of the formation of digital spectral television signals by maintaining the shape of the output signal and its polarity in the case of a negative difference between the compared digital codes, respectively.
