FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: cleaner comprises at least a pair of rollers with oppositely directed winding, supply and discharge conveyor. Winding pitch is arranged as alternating: sometimes high, sometimes low. Length of section with high pitch is two-three times longer than section with low pitch, and they alternate with each other, starting from section with high pitch. At the end of rollers there are rigidly fixed parallel rows of bristle with equal pitch made of natural or artificial hair with the possibility of its removal in case residual deformation occurs. Winding is rigidly fixed to rollers and is made either of elastic material or from metal, or from metal rigidly fixed through elastic coat to rollers, or from metal coated with elastic material. Surface of rollers in middle part at two thirds of their length is coated with elastic material, and is made of alternating protrusions and indents equal in height.

EFFECT: improved quality of root crop cleaning and their reduced traumatising.
