FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to thoracic surgery and can be applied in determining level of primary bronchus transaction in case of pulmonectomy. Essence of method lies in the following: location of resection level is determined basing on anatomical peculiarities of bronchus construction. Location of resection level is determined in region, close to trachea carina, by maximal value of intramural blood flow pulsation by means of opto-coupler of infrared range with open optic channel, which is superposed on supposed place of primary bronchus transaction. Value of intramural blood flow is determined by amplitude of pulsations of opto-coupler receiver signal.
EFFECT: application of claimed invention allows to eliminate bronchial stump failure by prevention blood flow disturbance in bronchial stump, resulting in necrotic changes of its wall.
