FIELD: medicine, oncothoracic surgery.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with treating tumor lesions in area of tracheal bifurcation. For this purpose after circular resection of carina and main left bronchus it is necessary to carry out autoplasty with isolated bronchopulmonary segment of the upper lobe of right lung. Caudal edge of bronchopulmonary segment of the upper lobe of right lung should be anastomosed with main left bronchus. Cranial edge should be anastomosed with trachea. The innovation enables to increase pulmonary volume due to additional application of the upper lobe of right lung and decrease the tension between tracheal walls and bifurcation of the main left bronchus.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of reconstruction.
