FIELD: railroad equipment.
SUBSTANCE: lengthwise beam comprises transition profile with symmetrically arranged sections of variable box-like cross section. Anti-rattle intermediate bush flanges are welded into jointing element vertical bores, their attachment zones being overlapped by supporting parts of beam. In compliance with first version, beam made from steel strips or bent rolled-form sections a component beam with transition section being produced from thicker sheet metal compared with that of its end rectangular tubes. Transition section is jointed to end tubes by superimposing shelves and walls. In compliance with one more version, composite beam made from steel strips features variable-thickness walls and shelves only at end tubes, while according to another version wherein the beam is made from bent sections, it features symmetrically aligned box-like sections fitted one into another. One of the latter, an inner section, supports jointing elements arranged in attachment zones of intermediate bushes. In compliance with second version, through rectangular tube is made, all along beam length, from thinner sheet metal, namely, from solid steel strips or bent U-sections and aligned with transition section enveloping it. Transition section has its variable-thickness shelves and jointing elements is welded to through tube with its walls making the ribs of transition section to strengthen attachment zones of intermediate bushes.
EFFECT: higher reliability, longer life.
