FIELD: packing industry.

SUBSTANCE: container closing device comprises a sealing element and a control element. The sealing element can be fixed on the wall of the food product container around the opening made in the wall. The control element can interact with the sealing element in order to move the latter from the open position leaving the wall opening free to the closed position closing the wall opening. The control element is fitted by connection means to be coupled with the food product container. The alignment of the sealing element and the control element can be changed so that the control element make the sealing element in the closed position to be engaged with tension on the wall for the purpose of medium container hermetisation. The said connection means are made with the possibility of engaging with the peripheral edge of the opening in the wall. The proposed invention relates also to the food product container fitted by such a device.

EFFECT: reliable sealing at the container closing.
