FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: method relates to filling of beverage jars that are further gas-tightly sealed, and for the purpose of stabilisation, jars have inner pressure exceeding ambient pressure. The method involves supply of a jar with an open filling hole to a pouring section, filling of the jar in the pouring section, closing of the jar filling hole with a cover immediately after its filling, fixation of the cover on the jar without its gas-tight sealing and transportation of the jar with the closed hole. Besides, the jar filling hole is closed with a cover that is further provided for permanent and gas-tight sealing of the jar. After the jar is filled in the pouring section, the cover is only fixed but is not sealed permanently; with that, the cover is pressed axially from above onto the jar. The cover has inner diameter as to edge width, which is somewhat smaller than flange outer diameter of the corresponding beverage jar, and put onto the jar till a click. As per another version, the method differs from the previous one by the fact that the cover is slightly deformed when being put. One more version of the method's implementation differs from the previous ones by the fact that the cover in the zone of its central cone has an outer diameter exceeding the inner diameter of the jar hole. A device for putting a cover onto a filled beverage jar includes a pouring section for its filling, a cover supply and fixation device provided directly near the pouring section or in the pouring section for jar closing. Besides, the cover is fixed on the jar without its gas-tight sealing, and the pouring section and cover supply and fixation devices include an inert gaseous atmosphere or are located in the inert gaseous atmosphere. The device also includes a sealing section for permanent and gas-tight sealing of a jar and a transportation device provided between pouring and sealing sections.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides reduction of beverage dirtiness.
