FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to non-ferrous metallurgy, to electrolyte production of aluminium from molten salts, particularly to covering of near-anode space on electrolytic cells with top current contact jaw. Covering of aluminium electrolytic cell including cathode with enveloping sheet and alumina filler contains gas-collecting bell, burner and secondary gas-collector, containing from folds. Folds of secondary gas-collector through connected to its bottom part isolated supports are installed on top edge of enveloping sheet. Folds are installed with ability of sliding by top edge at movement of self-burning anode with formation of clearance between them, located higher than level of alumina filler.

EFFECT: effectiveness increasing of gas after burning in burners that essentially reduces background discharges into environment.
