FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: recovery method of anode gases involves combustion of anode gas in under-bell space of gas-collecting bell at air supply and removal of anode gases in process conditions, operational treatments of electrolysis unit and anode effects. Combustion of anode gas is performed at air supply through holes made along the perimetre of gas-collecting bell with total surface area of 50% to 100% of total surface area of connection pipes installed in corners of gas-collecting bell. Removal of gases is performed after combustion through connection pipes installed in corners of gas-collecting bell and connected to gas ducts of centralised gas removal system.

EFFECT: increasing gas suction efficiency without sufficient additional costs.
