FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to mining and construction industries. Method for breaking of rocks includes drilling of central well and electrode boreholes around it, installation of electrodes in electrode boreholes and supply of high-voltage pulses to them. Additional well is drilled parallel to central well tightly to it or with its partial overlapping. Areas of borehole collaring is selected in helical direction at imaginary flat spiral. Initial distance between neighboring turns of spiral is selected not more than diametre of additional well. Prior to supply of high-voltage pulses to high-voltage electrode, opposite to its lower end at external angles of vertical planes of rock torn block chip in spiral and radial directions, one grounded electrode is installed individually. Distances between neighboring electrode boreholes, and also distances between neighboring turns of imaginary flat spiral are selected as identical, vertical and/or inclined intermediate boreholes, including crossing ones, are drilled between electrode boreholes to the depth of these boreholes.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce power inputs and to create for the possibility to make large blocks.
