FIELD: mining engineering.
SUBSTANCE: electric discharge method for rock destruction may be used in mining engineering and construction industries for strong rocks in rock quarries and slabs, border stones, a variety of construction stone elements. For all planes of spalling, including at the bottom of the plantar surface of each block there are formed the extended electrical breakdown channels by high-voltage discharge with an energy insufficient for breaking rock. For the formation of each channel of the electric rock breakdown, one shall provide for at least five high-voltage pulses. Bottomhole ends of the rod electrodes are made in the form of toothed wheels, or wheels with sharp edges. Separation of the rock is carried out by applying of high voltage pulses with high energy of each pulse, or known methods.
EFFECT: invention improves the efficiency of destruction of rocks, improving the quality of surface spalling, including the bottom sole that increases the output of blocks of hard rock and other products of specified form.
