FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to helical progressive-cavity hydraulic machines normally used in boreholes. Proposed stator comprises tubular casing, elastomer coat fitted in casing and having inner helical multi-start teeth. Coat inner surface has additional waves arranged, for example along spiral, while height of said additional teeth exceeds that of stator coat teeth. Additional waves represent continuous helical double-curvature wave formed by bending of cycloidal profile of helical multi-start teeth with certain pitch along central lengthwise axis of stator. Maximum pitch equals that between adjacent helical teeth in aforesaid coat. Start of continuous helical wave is located on the side of helical multi-start teeth first edge, while its finish is located on the side of second edge.
EFFECT: longer life, higher reliability and torque.
