FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to machine building, particularly to couplings. Electro-mechanical coupling consists of concentric arranged external and internal half-bushings interacting when turned on by means of a coupling unit, of an actuator and of a control element connected with the actuator. The control element can be situated in two steady positions. The coupling unit consists of stops on the external half-coupling and at least one element of coupling pivotally connected with the internal half-coupling. Also the coupling element is introduced into a circular channel of the external half-coupling and can be conjugated with stops and the control element. Notably, switching of the control element from one steady position into another is possible when it is not connected with the coupling element. An electric micro-engine or solenoid can be used as an actuator, while a low-inertia rolling cam can be used as a control element.

EFFECT: reduced power consumption of device, simplification of design and improved operating characteristics.
