FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aviation and serves to automatically aim at ground and air targets, both programmed operational. Aiming system comprises target detection and tracking unit, ballistic computer, target data base, aiming parametre generation unit and aircraft preset flight parametre generation unit. Target detection and tracking unit detect current target, tracks it and defines target current relative coordinates. In the case of programmed targets, current relative coordinates are determined in target data base from programmed target parametres and those received from external onboard data system for aircraft flight current parametres. Thus determined current coordinates of targets are transmitted to aiming parametre generation unit that receives also angular corrections computed by aircraft preset flight parametre ballistic unit. Computed aiming parametres are sent into aircraft preset flight parametre generation unit receiving also current aircraft flight parametres from external onboard data system. Aircraft preset flight parametre generation unit computes, proceeding from above specified data, required aircraft flight parametres to be sent into aircraft integrated control system, thus automatically setting aircraft into position for accurate hitting of target.
EFFECT: automatic sighting with no interference of human factor.
