SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to child neurology. Reflex in child is provoked by hitting with hammer on lateral part of greater pectoral muscle, closer to humeral bone. If forearm flexion and movement of arm in sagittal direction are detected, neurological health in child is diagnosed, if reflex is absent, or its weak expression or enhancing of reflex is detected, perinatal pathology of central nervous system is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method extends arsenal of means for investigating reflex from greater pectoral muscle.
