FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dentistry and can be used in diagnostics and treatment of pathologic states of dental root canals. Conic endodontic rotary file for formation or cleaning root canal in tooth contains at least one groove, spirally passing on file length. Diametres of at least one groove narrow on cone with complex profile from first diametre on tail part of file to smaller diametre on part of file top in such way that at least one region of groove, intermediate between tail part and top part, has diametre smaller than in case of straight conic line from tail part to top part. Grooves can also have dulled edges, and width of dulled edges in intermediate region is greater than width on top part or tail part.
EFFECT: invention ensures considerable improvement of dynamic equilibrium of cutting efficiency and preserving initial canal trajectory, in particular when files are applied in curved canals.
