SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to field of dentistry and can be applied, in particular in treatment of root canals of teeth. Instrument for clearing and/or shaping, and/or broadening of canal, which is in solid object or passes through it, in which at least part of body consists of longitudinal elements and elements of external circumference, which connect neighbouring longitudinal elements, forming, in such way, three-dimensional form of body part. Such form represents empty space, which surrounds longitudinal axis, limited by radial wall, which has structure of open grid type, and in which construction of instrument and material, from which it is made, allow changing of said space, external contour of instrument or both these characteristics during application for instrument forming in accordance with three-dimensional canal contour. Group of inventions also includes version of said instrument, versions of methods of their application and use.

EFFECT: creation of instrument suitable for cleaning, broadening, shaping and sealing of root canals of teeth with non-circular transversal section.
