FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in the titanium processing by the end mills. End mill comprises a cutting part with blunted cutting edges and alternating with grooves. Each groove includes, in the order from the cutting edge, front surface, concave-shaped curved section, convexly formed ejection section, and the tooth rear edge. Convex formed ejection section has a height that is measured between the ejection section upper point to an imaginary straight line extending from the lowest point of the adjacent curved groove section to the tooth adjacent trailing edge. Shown are conditions for the end mill parameters selection.
EFFECT: increase in the tool durability.
