FIELD: construction, roads.
SUBSTANCE: bridge made up from longitudinal all-size elements includes support with side ledges and span elements represented with light-weight volumetric metal structures of different length. Total width of longitudinal element strands to be installed in the span is equal to the bridge width. During mounting by jib crane, longitudinal elements are sequentially hung to each other line after line. Then they are welded electrically along the whole perimetre. Due to different size of longitudinal elements, cross connections of one longitudinal line do not coincide with the connections of the adjacent lines.
EFFECT: improved strength of span elements capable of withstanding sufficient loads.
