FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: aqueous suspension is prepared by 7-day pure culture of fungus Rhizopus Ehrenb. with concentration of 4500-5000 spore/ml, which is used to spray heads of sunflower in phase of "blooming end" in amount of 4-5 ml per single head. Isolator is placed onto treated head, which is removed in 3 days. Assessment of immunological reaction of plant is carried out in phase of head ripening by quality index of infected heads seeds - acid number of seeds oil. Differentiation of resistance is carried out by relative value of acid number of seeds oil, including those into resistant ones, which have acid number of seeds higher by 0-10%, medium-resistant ones - by 11-15%, perceptive ones - by 16-40%, highly perceptive ones - by 41% and higher than acid number of oil of seeds of this type of sunflower, which were not inoculated.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to provide for conditions of sunflower head infection, which are close to natural ones, and using quality index of seeds infected with dry rot of heads, to assess immunological reaction of plants, having detected resistant ones to specified pathogen.
