FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical engineering, particularly to technology of suspensions filtering with application of filter-presses and can be used at separation of different liquid heterogeneous system in chemical, food and other related branches of industry. Method consists in that time for washing of sediment is measured through specified intervals electric conduction of scrubbing filtrate, there are specified parametres of two consecutive measurements of conductivity, it is defined its difference and finished washing of sediment of difference module of values of specified parametres less than beforehand established value. Installation contains filter-press, collectors for feeding of initial suspension, flushing liquid, and also collectors of withdrawal of main and scrubbing filtrates. On collector of scrubbing filtrate it is implemented branch connecting it to tank return main of scrubbing filtrate. On branch it is installed conductometre connected through computing mechanism with timing unit.
EFFECT: control over process flow of sediment with required accuracy rate.
