FILTER PRESS Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: filter presses for dewatering deposits of sewage and other liquid heterogeneous systems in chemical and other industry branches. SUBSTANCE: filter press includes set of filtering plates arranged vertically between pressure plate and front strut. Filtering plates have flaps at least at one lateral side of filter press. Said flaps are mounted in brackets of plates with possibility for forming protective screen along above mentioned lateral side of filter press. In order to provide predetermined gap between plates, limiting strips are mounted in brackets of filtering plates. Each limiting strip arranged at side of protective screen is made of two links jointly connected one with another and mounted with possibility of rotation in horizontal plane. One link of each limiting strip is rigidly joined with flap for rotating the last at motion of filtering plates. EFFECT: enhanced degree of operator protection. 3 cl, 4 dwg
