FIELD: equipment for filtering low-concentrated suspensions at fine cleaning from mechanical admixtures; chemical and biochemical industries; hydrometallurgy and allied industries. SUBSTANCE: pressure filter has thrust and bearing plates interconnected by means of horizontal strainers. Placed between thrust and bearing plates is set of filtering plates with filtering baffles. Plate clamping mechanism mounted on bearing plate is engageable with pressure plate. Filtering plates are provided with collector holes, drainage member and recesses which form working space of filtering chambers. Transversal projections received by recesses form zigzag passage in filtering chambers for return flow of filtrate which is necessary for regeneration of filtering baffles. EFFECT: simplified construction of filter; improved technological and strength characteristics of filter due to exclusion of frames which require much labor and are not reliable. 3 cl, 8 dwg
