FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to process engineering and covers the method and device to produce plastic articles, in particular, luggage cases from self-hardening thermoplastic material, and plastic article produced by said method and device. Proposed invention aims at producing plastic articles, in particular, luggage cases with sections that feature abrupt shape changes, for example, all-molded angular sections, rounds or bends at intersections of the article main surfaces. Proposed method comprises fabricating self-hardening thermoplastic sheet to be tensioned in all following steps of plastic processing and/or forming right up to article workpiece separation from the sheet. Note here that tensioning step comprises relative arrangement of sheet edges to allow adjusting, at least, one process parametre.

EFFECT: wear-resistant and light articles; use of available equipment and tools.
