FIELD: testing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to devices intended for testing of structures made of various materials, mostly nonmetal ones, for fire resistance and thermocyclic strength in high-temperature gas flow. Bench for testing of mechanical properties of materials in gas flow comprises body with water cooling jacket equipped with cover and inspection holes, grips, stems, carriage, external screen, internal screen, control nuts, rods, upper and lower support, weighting device, loading mechanism, stops and air-gas track. Bench is equipped with nozzles of air supply for cooling of internal and external screens and grips. Internal and external screens are installed inside body in the form of circular header with middle part, grips are hingedly joined to stems. Each stem is arranged hollow, and tube is installed in each stem, which has external diametre lower than diametre of opening in stem. On stem from the side opposite to grip there is header of supply/drain of cooling liquid installed, at the same time stem, header and tube create circuit of water cooling of stem, and each stem is independently connected to carriage of loading device. Carriage is equipped with stops. Loading device connected coaxially to weighting device is installed between stems of upper and lower supports rigidly installed on body by means of stops. Body is installed on foundation on rocking supports.

EFFECT: development of bench for testing, which makes it possible to load samples of materials, also cyclically, for detection of thermomechanical characteristics directly in case of gas medium effect at them.
