SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering. According to the invention, after deciding handover MN (mobile node) requests an external transmission address (local link address of an access router belonging to the subnetwork, or default router after handover) related to the subnetwork, connected after handover, simultaneously with transmission of a RtSolPr message to the PAR router connected before handover. PAR receives an external transmission address in response to the request and sends MN an external transmission address together with the response using a PrRtAdv message for MN. MN establishes the external address, which was received before handover, for transmitting to a packet which should be transmitted after handover.
EFFECT: possibility of fast packet transmission by a mobile node immediately after handover between subnetworks.
