FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal deformation process, particularly - to pipe-bending manufacturing. It is changed temperature of shaped square pipe before bending, which is implemented by means of loading to sections of shaped square pipe out of bending area. Changing of temperature is implemented by means of alternate heating of tandem sections of facet of shaped square pipe in bending area, starting from its edge. Loading to section of pipe out of bending area is implemented after regular heating of tandem sections of facet of shaped square pipe in bending area. Additionally for required shaping of shaped square pipe of bending it is used solid mandrel, located from the side of inner edge of shaped square pipe in bending area.

EFFECT: simplified method and expanded range of application.
