FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircrafts with flapping wings driven by muscular force. Proposed ornithopter comprises wings and hand frame made from tubes wherein planes are fitted. Wings move along said planes generating flapping and pushing motion. Empennage is made from fan-connected tubes. Every tube consists of thermodynamic and mechanical parts. Thermodynamic part is filled with synthetic winterizer and has three slots. One slot makes an air intake. Second slot communicates with thermodynamic part of adjacent tube to transfer increased air pressure. Third slot communicates with mechanical part of tube-shutter to force air out into atmosphere to generate jet thrust.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of muscular force.
