FIELD: flying and floating vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: proposed man-powered floating flapping-wing aircraft has fuselage (10), wings (82), landing gear, wing drive, springs, load-bearing frame with articulated alighting gear, seat-couch, wing root carriage, wing roots, device for automatically setting angle of attack of wings and tail unit. Alighting gear consists of cartridges (15) where takeoff springs (16) are arranged; during takeoff and landing, these springs rest against stops of drive rod; during landing they are used as charging shock absorber. Articulated on these cartridges are charging levers and levers holding the takeoff springs; takeoff springs are released during takeoff for flapping of wings and repelling from surface. Wings may be secured as sails.
EFFECT: extended functional capabilities due to use of wings as sails.
