SUBSTANCE: invention is related to collector chamber for production of mineral fibres. Collector chamber contains the first end near flaking device and the second end near collector element. Between the first and second ends there is ceiling and the first and second side walls arranged. Cross section of the first end of collector chamber has the first area, and cross section of the second end of collector chamber has the second area. Cross sections are specified by ceiling, the first and second side walls, and also plane of cross section, which horizontally touches the lowest rotor of flaking device at its lower edge. Collector chamber contains narrowing arranged between the first and second ends. Length of narrowing makes at least 100 mm, and its cross section has the third area, maximum by 10% more than the first area and less then the second area.
EFFECT: prevention of generation of turbulent flows in collector chamber.
