FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: in method for making of mineral fibres, melt of minerals is sent to the first rotary fibre-making rotor in fibre-making device, which comprises at least two fibre-making rotors, and is cast away from surface of the first rotary rotor shell to surface of the second rotary rotor shell, and from this point serially forward to surfaces of shells of all possible subsequent rotors. Melt of minerals is then formed into mineral fibres on active peripheries of rotary rotors, and molded mineral fibres are blown out of fibre-making rotors of fibre-making device with the help of fibre blowing facilities installed on active peripheries, to collector element. Onto mineral fibres in process of their moulding they apply binder by means of element for application of binder installed on active peripheries of rotors. Active periphery at least of one of fibre-making rotors is separated into at least first section and the second section, moreover, element for application of binder and facility for fibres blowing in the first section may be controlled independently on element for application of binder and facility of fibres blowing in the second section.
EFFECT: production of fibres with specified properties for wide area of application.
