FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: proposed invention refers to instrumentation and can be used during non-contact automated check of parametres, operating modes and technical state of AC electric equipment. Proposed method of visual inspection of energy consumption parametres and diagnostics of technical state of AC electric equipment consists in the fact that there formed is signal picked up from magnetic field sensor, which is proportional to intensity of external magnetic field accompanying electric equipment operation; at that, obtained signal picked up from magnetic field sensor connected as per scheme of current transformer to wires carrying electric energy and feeding controlled electric equipment is converted by using integrating or (and) differentiating elements; signal is fed from sensor output to horizontal (vertical) deflection plates, and signal from output of integrating (differentiating) element - to vertical (horizontal) deflection plates of oscillograph, and as per results of obtained curve shape compared to set of reference curves there assessed are operating modes and technical state of controlled electric equipment.

EFFECT: enlarging process capabilities of non-contact inspection of energy consumption parametres and diagnostics of technical state of AC electric equipment, improving reliability, inspection depth, accuracy and completeness of obtained information.
