SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrument making and can be used in aircraft automatic control systems. To achieve the given result, the system includes homing apparatus which are made such that, when the aircraft is flying along a flight path on a low altitude and an ascension command is given, the system continues moving the aircraft in the horizontal plane along the lateral flight path at low altitude. In the vertical plane the system switches the aircraft into ascension mode on an ascension slope, which is greater or equal to the maximum slope on the flight path.
