FIELD: physics, video hardware.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates image grabbers. Proposed device comprises pixel unit with an array consisting of multiple groups each including multiple pixels arranged along line and column, and adding unit configured to allow addition of one-colour-pixel signals from pixel signals generated from multiple pixels located in aforesaid groups. The said adding unit incorporates pixel amplifier, common for every group and connected with all one-colour pixels to add pixel signals corresponding to one-colour pixels in logical part of the aforesaid pixel amplifier so that spatial centres of gravity of added pixels are regularly spaced apart in, at least, one direction of line and column.
EFFECT: high-resolution image brought about by image processing including adding.
