SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology and can be used in surgical treatment of pathological lesions of eye socket. Under microscope cut of skin and soft tissues in area of external angle of palpebral fissure, extending it on 20 mm, is made. Eye-lids are parted by means of blepharostat, opening free access to bulbar conjunctiva. In bulbar conjunctiva in meridians from 6³⁰ to 11⁰⁰ o'clock and 7 mm from external limb cut of conjunctiva and Tenon's capsule is made concentrically to limb Tendons of external rectus muscle are separated and sewn with loop suture External rectus muscle is separated on all length to eye socket apex, cut in place of fixation to sclera and moved aside, opening free access to internal surgical space on its total depth pathologic lesion is removed external rectus muscle is fixed to sclera, uninterrupted suture is applied on conjunctiva and one interrupted microsuture on skin in area of external angle of palpebral fissure Application of invention allows to minimise tissue traumatism and injury of vessels, prevent temporaryt resection of external bone wall of eye socket and possibility of its fracture, that is prevent change of eye socket configuration Probability of retrobulbar hematome development and strabismus resulting from muscle paresis are prevented.

EFFECT: method allows to remove pathologic nidus from most difficult area in more radical way with simultaneous reduction of operation duration
