FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, namely resuscitation, and can be used for enteral feeding in the patients with craniocerebral trauma. That is ensured by determining calorage and energy consumption peaks by indirect calorimetry. The nutrient mixtures are introduced 25-30 minutes prior to the development of a consumption peak in amount 15-20% higher of the calculated calorage.
EFFECT: invention ensures higher efficiency of enteral feeding due to more adequate digestion when food is supplied by the moments of consumption peaks, that in turn allows introducing to the patient the nutrient mixtures of higher calorage herewith meeting the high needs of the patients of said category.
