FIELD: production processes.
SUBSTANCE: method includes preliminary sorting of urban ore using system for sorting of urban ore. System contains belt conveyor and table for sorting above it. Table for sorting consists of two parts installed at a distance to each other approximately equal to width of conveyor belt and it is covered by removable shields from above. As a version table for sorting is designed with hole covered by removable shields from above.
EFFECT: increase in labour productivity upon reduction of energy consumption for sorting and transportation of urban ore to conveyor belt.
