SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a class of sulphur-containing compounds of general formula R¹-S(O)_n-CH₂-CH₂-SR², where n = 1 or 2, when n = 1 R² = (X=Cl, Br, H₂PO₄), R¹= lower alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl; when n = 2 R²=H, C(O)CH₃, SO₃Na, (X=Cl, Br, H₂PO₄) R¹=straight or branched C₁-C₈ alkyl, substituted alkyl; aryl, substituted aryl, with antiarhythmic activity, as well as medicinal agents and pharmaceutical compositions based on said compounds.

EFFECT: proposed compounds in low doses have antiarhythmic activity, have low toxicity and can be used as active substances in medicinal agents for treating and preventing heart rhythm disorder.
